Let’s Spill the Tea…. Leaves: A Tea Blending Workshop

June 24 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Free

Join award-winning tea shop, The Teapothecary, for a hands-on exploration of tea, history, and self-expression. In this interactive workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of tea blending, including how to balance base, middle, and top notes to create a harmonious and flavourful blend.

We’ll also explore the fascinating history of tea and uncover some of the lesser-known ways tea houses, cafés, and tea culture have intersected with queer communities throughout history. Each participant will leave with a custom sample-sized tea blend they have created themselves, along with the knowledge and confidence to continue experimenting at home.
