This workshop is for those that have had magical daydreams of shimmying and strutting across a stage, love making people laugh, gasp or wooh!

We will cover some of the basics of queer burlesque history as well as a movement practice to get a solid foundation on teasing, revealing and flourishing costume pieces! Absolutely no experience required! This workshop is for ALL bodies!

Lacia Majora (she/they)

Lacia Majora is a queer, non binary performer with big tits and bigger wits. A true sapphic nightmare, they live to make audiences laugh and question their sexuality. Co producer of beloved Halifax regular monthly shows like Bare- aoke and Porthole, Lacia is originally from Toronto but is currently living in Halifax and is here to eat donair and whip their hair.

Accessibility Notes:

Entrances: building has a wheelchair ramp on the east side with, Entrance into our main doors there are 3 steps with handrails.
Parking: accessible parking east side, 3 other accessible parking spots in the main parking lot.
Washrooms: No gender neutral on main floor, family washroom in basement.
